Crisis burst out of the water and crawled up onto the shore sputtering and couching. She reached her finger in her mouth and plucked a human out of the side of her cheek and set him down on the shore.

Been a bit, but here we go. This went through several rewrites, but no matter what I try it feels a little off. Still maybe that's a good thing, if it seems rushed it is; this is Felarya, you can't slow down and I hope to convey that desperation in the pace. This one's short but the next will be longer, and it will contain our first meeting of Shiarra and our merry band, as well as introduce yet another predatory hurdle, one that may be too much for anyone to overcome...
